Pomus (which derives its name from the Ancient Greek word 'pōmus' meaning fruit tree), is a neighbourhood restaurant, wine bar, bottle shop & pantry supply store situated in The Centre, Margate, just 10 minutes from the seafront and run by entrepreneur and hospitality expert Ryan Jacovides and MasterChef finalist and restaurateur Tony Rodd.
Taking inspiration from Kent's bountiful natural larder, a low-waste and inclusive menu will be showcased alongside some award-winning wines.
Utilising many local producers such as Whitstable Oysters, Cheesemakers of Canterbury, Chapel Down and Westwell, Pomus is a home away from home for Kent locals and tourists alike.
Dogs & kids welcome during the day (Please contact if you would like to take dogs/kids in the evening.)
Downstairs, there’s even a private tasting room for 6–10 people - whether that’s a wine tasting night, an indulgent dinner with friends or that special occasion, they've got you covered.
Booking a table is recommended, especially for weekends! But they do always reserve some space for any walk in's.
For bookings of 7 or more people, please email enquiries@pomus.co.uk stating 'Margate group booking'.
