The hugely popular Open-Top Bus 'route 69' will be returning to Thanet for 2025... with an exciting new route from 19th July, that will travel along Margate seafront.
The current route, between Ramsgate Boating Pool and Broadstairs Stone Bay, will operate for one last weekend...
The Route 69 bus stops at the following locations on the 12th & 13th July :
1 - Stone Bay
2 - Broadstairs Baptist Church, Queen's Road
3 - Broadstairs, Victoria Parade
4 - Dumpton Gap, South Cliff Parade
5 - Granville Theatre
6 - Ramsgate Harbour
7 - Ramsgate West Cliff, Boating Pool
Then, from the 19th July it will operate every weekend, bank holiday and school holiday until Sunday 21st September running the new route as follows...

2 - Westbrook, opposite Norman Road
3 - Margate Train Station
4 - Cliftonville Esplanade
5 - St Peter's Railway Bridge
6 - Broadstairs, Victoria Parade
7 - Ramsgate Harbour
8 - Ramsgate West Cliff, Boating Pool
9 - Cliffs End, Viking Ship
* Please note - There are more stops, with a less coastal route, when travelling in the other direction (from Cliffs End to Minnis Bay), so please refer to the Stagecoach 69 bus timetable here for full route information when planning your schedule *

Tickets can be bought from the driver, or Stagecoach Bus App.
Dayrider tickets are also available, allowing you to travel on the Open-Top Bus as well as any other Stagecoach bus within Thanet for the entire day. Thanet Dayrider tickets can also be bought from the bus driver or via the Stagecoach Bus App.
