It's back - the Broadstairs Autumn Food Festival makes a welcome return!
100 stalls of produce and hot food at Victoria Gardens over the weekend, with independent producers offering everything from preserves and pickles, bread and bakery, wines and spirits.
There will be an eclectic mix of live music on the bandstand, and visitors can sample the produce and chat to the food producers.
In the festival marquee you will find free activities for children.
There will be plenty of hot food to feast on, including meat free and dairy free food.
Friday 2nd, 2pm - 3pm: Craig Mather is an award-winning chef whose career spans top kitchens, seafood expertise and mentoring the next generation of chefs. Head chef at Kebbells in Broadstairs and known for his confident, modern cooking, Craig will present a live fish demonstration at the festival, showcasing his skill, creativity and passion.
Saturday 3rd, 1.30pm - 2.30pm: Comedian and cook George Egg (aka The Snack Hacker) creates inventive recipes with infectious humour. He’s recently published a bestselling book and he’s cooked on various Tv shows with a playful approach that inspires cooks and non-cooks alike. Expect imaginative, rule-breaking food with a side order of laughs at this year’s festival.
Sunday 4th, 1pm - 2pm: Mark O’Brien, chef, restaurateur and MasterChef: The Professionals finalist, brings his passion for American-sytle barbecue, live-fire cooking and bold flavours to the festival. Drawing on experience in some of London’s top kitchens, he’ll share expert techniques, barbecue inspiration and unforgettable smokey dishes.
