Learn how to turn plastic bottles into beautifully crafted self-watering planters at Margate's Windmill Community Gardens

1pm - 3pm

This workshop with Artivism will guide you in how to make self-watering planters from recycled plastic and helps you turn plastic bottles into beautifully crafted self-watering planters or vertical gardens, that you can grow food or herbs in.

You'll also be shown how to make basic Macramé to hang your planters in. An ancient knotting practise, discovered in carvings from the Babylonians and Assyrians.
