The return of Yvonne Fuchs to the gardens for a hands on workshops, exploring the world of Hapa Zome and Slow Stitch, blending the two into some keepsake pieces for you to take home at the end of the workshop.

Hapa Zome is a traditional Japanese natural dyeing technique that translates to 'leaf dyeing". It involves pounding fresh leaves, petals and flowers.

Slow Stitch is a mindful, meditative approach to hand sewing that prioritises the relaxing experience of creating over a flawless final product. The process embraces imperfection and sustainable practices, often repurposing old fabrics and incorporating simple, repetitive techniques.
