The legendary singer songwriter and musician Patrick Wolf has invited his band mate Sophie Crawford, the co-founder of the Queer Folk project to his home on the Isle of Thanet this August the 8th, to curate for Margate Pride a one off evening of folk music performed completely acoustically, without amplification in the beautiful Ark venue, Cliftonville, Margate's old synagogue.

Wolf and Crawford will be performing a double act concert accompanying each other on their own songs, duetting and taking the extremely intimate audience of 120 on an inverted adventure through the folk standards that have shaped and accompanied them through their work.

They have selected the brilliant "Selkies Kiss" a queer riot of free-folk music, playing music influenced by the traditions of Britian, Ireland and Scandinavia to open the "Invert Folk Club", filling the Ark with fiddles, Bodhran and mandolin alongside Crawfords accordion, Clog Dancing, Patrick Wolfs Viola, Kantale, Harp, Harpsichord, Guitar, Flute Organ and if we are very lucky, a moment of double appalachian mountain dulcimer between our curators of the club.

25% of the show profit will be given to Margate Pride
