Following on from their first exhibition in 2022 Ghost Image return with a new series artworks showcasing ideas and responses to the ideas and values of kitsch.

Working to a Presentiment concept Ghost Image add and subtract from each others work leaving traces and visual changes.

Ghost Image comprises of Lisa McGuinness and Kristian Baughurst. A visual arts collaborative duo exploring themes of illustration, story telling, fashion, moving image and design.

Lisa draws upon 20 years of global fashion design and trend forecasting to create paintings and drawings that capture the joy and humour in modern life with a love of people, portraits andnostalgia. Lisa is a highly commissioned artist with multiple solo shows under their belt.

Kristian is a trained graphic designer and experimental film maker focusing on creating mixed media artworks that combine abstract themes with snap shots of visual communication. Their recent moving image work has won awards in experimental film and visual poetry
