Run by the community, for the community! At the Walpole Tidal Pool in Cliftonville

The Walpole Aquathlon is an annual swim and run event, started by Cliftonville resident Louise Haswell in 2020 to raise funds for local charities that support our amazing coastal community here in Margate.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-timer, we can’t wait to see you at the starting line!

Make the most of the late summer and smash out a run-swim aquathlon. Choose between two distances: 2 laps of the tidal and a 5k run or 4 laps of the tidal pool and a 10k run. Too far? Think about volunteering and help out.

The event will raise money for Rise Up Clean Up, People Dem Collective, and Margate Pride.
