As part of their offering for Margate Pride, Margate's Crab Museum are delighted to announce an evening of Queer Eco-Poetry from the Wild Thing Collective.
6.30pm
Ecological poetry has the power to connect ourselves with the wild spaces, it is a valuable friend to how we communicate science, our interconnectedness with the world around us, and where us humans fit into all of that.
To celebrate this, on Thursday 6th of August the roof terrace will be open for an intimate evening of poetry conjoining the natural world with the complex, whimsical, dark, and sometimes rude essence of what it means to be human.
Curated by artist and poet William Wyld, and hosted by Margate based Poet and Artist Kit Griffiths, this event teases apart the tethers that join and entangle the human experience to the world around all of us
